I was doing some work on re-arranging my pedalboard to add in a new pedal, but ran out of time before this show, so I decided to see how I could do using my DJ rig (a Numark Mixtrack Pro and a MacBook running Traktor Scratch Pro 2) to manipulate, loop, and layer some short tone and percussive samples I'd made. It would've been fine, except there was a metronome click that I'd never encountered before that was appearing in each loop. I quickly tried to fix it and didn't want to stop the set to figure it out, so I tried to work with it. Next time I'll be better prepared, hopefully. Drew from Navigator said everything was off for him, too, and blamed it on it being Friday the 13th.
